Alliant 2400
Remington Cases(from factory loaded ammo that I have shot)
Nosler 240 JSHP
CCI Primers
I can put together 50rds for about $.35/rd.0 -
1# of H-110 or 2400 $20
100 cases (new) $25
500 CCI #350 primers $12
100 240gr JHP bullets $25
400 250 Lead wadcutters $40
1 st time reloading cost for 100 rnds JHP about $52. 2nd round reloading cost for 100 jhp $27. 100 rnds of wadcautters $12.
Average cost of 20 rnds of factory 240 JHP rounds $20.0 -

cast your own with free lead, cost is primer/powder/time0 -
If I figure my time into the equation of handloading I would be way ahead to work the same amount of time, make some easy money and just buy the ammo.
I enjoy handloading though and believe I can taylor the ammo to the guns.0 -

I don't count the time, because if I wasn't reloading I'd be doing something else "constructive", like surfing the net or watching the idiot box. Now if my reloading was taking me away form something that paid $$ that would be a different story.0 -
It's just like sseexx.
The more you do it, the more you want to.
Once you start, you hate to stop.
Keep at it, and you'll get a big bang out of it.
