Remington Spartan Shotgun--Update(pictures)

Went to a local Wildlife Restoration Banquent last night. Was a really neat little meeting where we got a good dinner and they had many drawings and auctions for guns, handcrafted goods, and many other things. Anyway, I have never won a raffle, but decided that I could afford 1 ticket. I ended up winning a 12 guage Remington Spartan 310 Over-under shotgun! I know that there are better, but this is a really neat little gun and is my first double-barrel shotgun. I will post a picture as soon as I can find the camera. Anybody else have or shoot one of these before? And does anybody know if the 12 and 20 guage barrels are interchangable?

  JON,cant wait to see it i have looked at the single bar. models on gb but didnt know they made a double, i bet it was like you won the lottery last night [:p] would have been for me[:D]

  I have sold a few of these shotguns. One fella I got one for is one of those Trap shooters and has a high dollar Beretta for trap. He bought the Remington Sparten because he liked the feel and was wanting a field gun to hunt quail.

  Lot of guys use the Spartan .410 O/U for shooting skeet..[:)]

  I bought one in 16 gauge this year. Used it on a couple of preserve hunts. Points well No problem hitting the birds.A little heavy for a 16 gauge, but I sure like it.

  Those are the same gun as the EAA (European America Armory) shotguns imported from Russia they are just now sold as Remington. I used to sell alot of them not a bad gun but like others have said its a bit heavy.
