Michele Malkin and Bill O'Reilly on Illegal Aliens
I watched the O'Reilly Factor last night as Bill, Michele, and Geraldo went at it over the illegal alien issue. Here are the facts of the matter - Michele Malkin is spearheading the Get Rid of Illegal Aliens through Attrition, Geraldo was livid and basic calling anyone who did not agree with him a Nazi, and O'Reilly is for keeping 99 and 44/100% of the illegals in America. He does want to double the border patrol and put 10,000 National Guardsmen on the border, however. He did not say they should be armed. Here is a video clip of O'Reilly and Michele going at it:

Please send Michele Malkin a thank you note for championing the Remove Illegal Aliens Through Attrition Cause, and then send an e-mail to O'Reilly asking him if he understands the definition of "attrition" as it pertains to deporting 12 million people who are in this country illegaly:

O'Reilly has gone soft on the illegal alien issue in the last month. He even supported the amnesty bill. I think O'Reilly is just a professional blow hard who takes a position to get ratings and then changes it to piss people off again.
Its sad when a CNN anchor is more conservative then O'Reilly. Thank God though that Malkin is still true to her beliefs0 -
Geraldo is just that,...........a Geraldo![}:)] 0 -
OReilly does support keeping the illegal aliens in America. He always has. I think his heart is in the right place, but he has bought off on the far left fringe's belief that they may have broken the law, but they are here so keep them. What he is not considering enough to suit me is that his plan to solve the issue, will result in these 12 million illegals bringing their family members to America as well based upon the good judgement of immigration officials. How many would that be? 24, 36, 48 million more? If they were not allowed to bring anyone else with them, millions of those who want them deported through attrition, would buy off on this idea. However, only a certifiable FOOL could possibly believe that a government that would allow these illegals to stay, would prevent them from bringing their wives, husbands, or kids to America. And dig this, the far left wants these illegals to have the right to bring their extended family members like the Moms, Pops, Brothers, and Sisters, to include, their kids to be admitted as well - which is a totally Anti-American mindset. The potential numbers that such a policy would generate is staggering.
O'Reilly may have come from humble beginnings, but the super rich will NEVER be able to think like the common citizen. For example, the other day Sean Hannity was involved with talking about taxes, and made a statement to the effect that a person making $200,000.00, ($400,000.00 for a husband and wife), a year could not be considered rich! Mind you now, anyone who thinks in such a distorted manner is far removed from the common citizen. The typical rich person has no concept of what the ordinary ciitizen considers rich. Consequently they think in terms of how others think who run in their circles.0 -
Sometimes I think Geraldo has a creative memory. He said "It reminds me so much of when they used to pull down the pants of Jews to see if they were circumcised or not."
I was born in Walker County, Alabama and was circumcised before I was one day old. Alabama in those Roosevelt days wasn't exactly a bastion of liberalism. Practically everybody I knew in my generation, and at least two generations back were circumcised. I don't recall anybody ever asking if you were circumcised, much less pulling down your pants to look. It might have been interesting to see somebody try with some of those boys.
You don't have to be Jewish to be circumcised. Nobody asked me if I wanted to be circumcised. [:D]0 -
Whats next is you are going to see what the Gov considers "rich", come down and down!
Soon you and I may be "RICH",..........they will have to lower the level to pay all of what they are wanting to give away.
Wait Kimi,.......we will be rich soon!0 -
Just spend your campaign donations on yourself and family, let corprate America handle the bribes and BS for awhile as they generally give to both sides. The coffers will dry up and a common guy will stand a chance of winning in the future. If you're determined to contibute at least do it in Peso type coinage in the pre-paid envolopes they send you 0 -

Nobody cares about your circumcision. That's way too much information. Please keep it to yourself.0 -
I agree with Malkin on this one. Too bad most of the time she is a hateful little wench. [xx(] 0 -

I'm a bit puzzled about your taking offence to the post. If it really did offend you, then I'll have to say I'm sorry about that, but it wasn't idle chit-chat. I thought it was self explanatory, but maybe not.
When Mister Rivera is in an argument and gets a little excited, he starts remembering things which never happened. His quote from this video, "It reminds me so much of when they used to pull down the pants of Jews to see if they were circumcised or not." is one example of his creative memory.
Mister Rivera may well remember people having their pants pulled down, but if so, it had nothing to do with identifying their religion. In the first place I believe in his neighborhood as well as mine, most people already knew who was Jewish. In the second place, circumcision proves absolutely nothing about anyone's religion. There are millions of circumcised people in the United States who are not Jewish.
This is only one example of why I give very little weight to anything Geraldo remembers.0 -
...that damned oreilly, at first i liked him, then i realized how much of a hipocrite and downright snobby he is...and now this liberalism...its not good 0 -
FWIW here is my solution to the illegal mexican'ts problem. Build a shoot house every 50 yards along the border. Rent them out to shooters for $25 a day. You would have a waiting list 60 days long, make money hand over fist, stop the mexican'ts, improve the shooting skills of thousands of Real Americans, and save a bunch of paper targets, clay pigeons, etc. 0 -
I listen to some of the O'Reilly radio program on nearly a daily basis. And I too was appauled at his early support of the bill. Even tho news of the bill had only first broke and w/o knowing much of the details, O"Rielly concluded that it was the best compromise we're likely to get.
While the truth of his conclusion remains to be seen, I think most of us agree that it was/is a BAD bill and if O'Rielly is correct our country is SCREWED.
But I do agree w/O'Rielly on some points. We simply cannot round up and deport all of the illegals that are already here. Our Govt. in it's refusal to enforce our immigration laws has in effect invited these people here. And many of them are honest hard working people who really are just seeking a better life for their families. To round them all up for deportation would be a cruel action that would be extremely unpopular on the world stage. We're going to have to accept that we're going to have to forgive that they broke our imigratin laws and let probably the bulk of them stay. Provided they meet certain criteria.
Our first and foremost objective at this point should be to focus on CLOSING THE BORDERS TO STOP THE INFLOW. We CANNOT reform what we cannot control!
Once we have ACHIEVED this, next we need register all illeals already here and perform background checks on them to see what kind of citizens they have been and will be. Seperate the good from the bad. Allow the good to have opportunity to become either American Citizens OR Legal foriegn workers and deport the bad ones. The basic workable plan is outlined on my "Battle won, war not over" thread.
Geraldo is a Liberal nut who needs to have another chair bashed over his head.0 -
Geraldo has no place on television or in the news business unless it's filling in for Al Sharpton or Jerry Springer. 0 -
When I first sawgeraldo on tv many years ago he had a program very similiar to springer, why would any one take any notice of his opinion. As for orielly he is a total hipocrite and only after ratings. 0 -
Just remember one thing. Limbuagh, O'Rielly, Beck and the other Right radio talk shows are OPINION programs. And are presented as such. Now compare them to the Liberal media that presents their spin as the news FACT.
I've listen to these hosts talk about the same topic and heard all express different opinions. Often contradicing one another. And often one brings good points missed by the others.
You shouldn't take what these guys say as the gospel truth. It is thier opinion. And sometimes they might be wrong.
The best undertanding of an issue can be gained by listening to several opinions and piecing together the good points from each host to form your own opinion.
I don't agree w/everything ANY of them say. And one has to take into consideration that a quest for ratings IS a part of ALL of their interests.
But I pesonally believe O'Rielly and the rest are for the most part genuine in thier opinions.0 -

Bold comment #1. Bull crap
Bold comment #2. Don't care, e.g. tough luck. No right to be here = deportation, period.
Bold comment #3. Bull crap again and who is the "we" that "has to accept and forgive"? You sure are NOT describing me, or my family and associates. We do NOT have to and should NOT let, the bulk, or any other portion of the illegal aliens stay here. This is ludicrous at best and totally without merit, other than some "feel good" crap for whatever reason.
Simple plan folks:
#1. Close the border to the utmost of our ability, period.
#2. Shut off social services for all illegal aliens, with the exception of emergency medical services. Once treated for whatever medical emergency they have.....deportation, period.
#3. Strict enforcement of existing employment law, as was passed and promised in the 80's when amnesty was handed out.
#4. As contact is made with any illegal, in the course of normal business, deportation must result, period. No need for any mass roundups (except for workplace enforcement).
Those who do not self deport will be contacted at some point and sent home. We can be humane and feed them, bathe them, give them an air-conditioned ride back to the border and say "adios muchacho", with a hearty handshake, a slap on the back and a wish for good health and good luck...in your country of origin. [;)]
Now, all it would take is to tune out the do-gooders and one-worlders, make the commitment and get to it, period.
I for one, am thoroughly sick and tired of everyone telling The American People, that allowing multi-millions of aliens to stay in America, is the "only" reasonable option and "the right thing to do".
That is a steaming load of crap, period. The future of this nation had better be considered and flooding us with 10's -100's of millions of aliens will do nothing but destroy our constitutional form of government and erase our freedoms.0 -

Tell this to the the far left fringe that is trying to push the Bush-Kennedy-McCain Amnesty Plan through and they'll tell you that "We can't deport 12 million people!" To them, anything other than what they want to hear, and you are for the immediate and mass deportation of 12 million people. They then like to follow that up with something like, "We can't even find these people! How can we deport them?" Tell them to enforce the current laws, and they say they are not enforceable, (this might have a lot of truth to it, because they wrote the laws to begin with). Tell them that Removal of Illegal Immigrants Through Attrition in no way, shape, or form represents mass and immediate deportation, and they say, "Could you report an illegal alien to I.C.E. who is a neighbor of yours that lives across the street from you - you must get a grip on life and show compassion for your fellow man." Meaning that you are a little Hitler! Tell these SOBs anything that makes sense and it always amounts to, "We can't do that!" Now just who in the world represents the Hitlers in our society when 8 out of 10 tax paying, law abiding, PATRIOTIC Americans want them out of America? Think about that real hard, right now, and I'll guarantee you that you will know immediately that you don't have to sleep-on-it to know who the tyrants are in this picture.0 -
Couldn't agree more with the LT on this one. 0 -
I once felt the way you folks do. I'm a former OTR trucker who personally saw how far ilegal immigration was getting out of hand way before it began the issue it is today. And I can tell you that illegals are NOT just doing jobs Amaricans won't. I can't count how many docks I bumped on MFGer's and warehouses were illegals were 90% of the workforce.
But consider this. Right now, even with these illegal workers we have in effect 0 unemployment.Nearly everyone who wants a job,has one. Sure there is some unemployment. But there will always be at least some. We have enough work for everyone, including the immigrants. And if we cull out the crimminal element amoung them, that will open up at least a few million more jobs.
Many of these people are hard working families who WERE ALLOWED to come here, even if illegally, to work. And we have work for them. We just need to get them into the program of paying taxes and paying into the social service programs they use.
Forcing ALL of them to register and receive a tamper proof ID and enforcing the immigrant labors w/drastically increased fines & penalties will serve this purpose. ANY employer found hiring immigrants w/o the ID will be SEVERELY PUNISHED.
Upon registration a background check will be done. Anyone w/a crimmial record deemed undesirable will be exported. The rest are brought into the program after meeting some penalty requirements.
Those seeking Citizenship will be given the opportunity and upon becoming a citizen will be ONLY ones eligible for social services.
But all of them will pay into it via the same taxes for working in the U.S. that we pay.
It's a WIN WIN proposal for us all.
IMO calling for deportation of them all is incredably short sighted.0 -

I'd like to be wrong for once. Being wrong would not bother me in the least, call it what you want. For sure, being wrong this one time, if that's what you want to call it, or shortsighted does not bother me at all. It's kind of like kicking someone's ass by mistake, but enjoying the fact that you knew they had it coming anyway.0 -
I understand your point. We are nation of laws that we are expected to observe and that these people have willfully ignored. And they have taken advantage of social programs they have no right to. It's not fair that you and I are expectec to toe the line and pay our way while these immigrants have been given a free pass.
It PO's me too. But we need to be realistic about what we can do. Deporting all of them is what they deserve. But is it the best thing to do? We really need to get the illegal immigration issue resolved once and for all. But we're not going to get everyting the way we want it. We can easily see that w/2 previous Govt. screw arounds and the opposition reform is receiving now, that there are considrable hurdles to be overcome. And in this respect I think O'Reilly is correct (but not to extent he was talking about) We're going to have to have some compromise to get anything done. And some compromise is better than achieving nothing. Our nation can & has provided for those alreay here. But we have stop the inflow. That is job #1.0 -
I had politicians in mind, mostly. Ordinarily you would be correct. The problem here is elected representatives who have always had their way. They are politicians who have spent a lifetime of %$*(&^% John Q. Public on the immigration issue. That's what they are good at doing. The Bush-Kennedy-McCain Amnesty Plan would simply be another ongoing prostitute session. The fact is that our leaders need to know that they are going to do what the majority of the people want them to do, or they are going to pay the price with their position. And, since this is the first time during my life to where the people have somewhat of an upperhand here, (a very rare moment in anyone's book), they need to hammer home the following points while they have the momentum going:
Secure the damn border with an effective fence system.
Double the number of border patrol agents.
Assign armed troops to border patrol duty.
Once we have stopped the invasion on the border, and at all ports of entry, then we can address immigration reform, until that point in time, deport illegal aliens by enforcing current laws and through
other normal attrition means. Until then, micro-manage their every breathing moment.
For sure, you won't get "anything" you want if you let the politicians win this battle. They have proven that time and time again that they cannot be trusted on this issue - don't be stupid enough to fall for it.0 -
I am worried about the amount of disrespect and indifference to the President's ideas. The man is a strong, committed leader who prays daily, and he has more understanding of this issue first as the governor of a border state and second as the President of our country. If he says this plan is a good idea, I believe him. I think all of those who are arguing against the plan are forgetting what is means to be a good American, especially sad in a time of war. 0 -

Many of the President's ideas suck, period. I am not indifferent to them, I simply oppose most of them. I do find a great deal of disrespect, within myself, for his ideas however, so I am guilty as charged on that one.
He has proven himself to be a domestic moron and willfully takes actions contrary to constitutional principals. He is pro "one-world", just like his daddy and just like most of the CFR pukes in government.
Oh and by the way, what the hell does praying daily have to do with his ideas? Do you think God spoke to him and told him that we need to erase our borders? I pray every day also. Does that make my opinion, or position somehow superior to a "non-praying" citizen?
You believe him, that somewhere in the neighborhood of 100-200 million aliens, added to America is a good thing???? Can't you study, analyze and think for yourself, or are you one of the millions of sheep in the American Flock?
What does it mean to be a good American? Does it mean blind obedience, blind faith, follow the leader, the Fed knows best, ignore the good of the nation and the US Constitution and its Bill of Rights.....what?
Does any of this "North American Union", or "SPP" crap matter more if it is in a "time of war", or a time of peace? Is it better at some particular point?
It is what it is. People who use some "crisis" or another to justify forcing additional loss of rights, or further loss of sovereignty down our throats, piss me off also. They piss me off almost as bad as the numbnuts who buy off on it.
God almighty, some of you people astound me. It is no wonder we are going down the crapper.0 -

I voted for Bush, twice, and I would do it again given the same choices. Or, not for either party knowing how they feel toward illegal aliens. I support some of his positions just as strongly as I oppose his arrogant attitude and pro-illegal alien stand toward the mass majority of American citizens. Stop and think just for one minute about this. How in the world can any president that knows that 80 percent of his countrymen stand against him on an issue tell them to kiss off? That is what Bush is doing on a very serious national security matter. Not just from terrorist coming across the border, but for an invasion against the American way of life itself. He deserves the disrespect he is getting on this issue and a whole lot more! Respect is a two way street - to President Bush it's without a doubt one way, and this issue proves it.0 -
Bush is an elected offical who swore to uphold the laws of the land and who's job is to represent the will of the American people.
And on the immigration issue, he has done niether.
I don't peronally give a tinkers damn how much he prays or what his personal views are.0 -

Christianwarrior,
Our president is a blithering buffoon!
Unfortunately, he was still the best choice in the 2000 and 2004 general elections.
Says something kinda sad about our political candidates dont it?
