Found me a new one!
The girlfriend gave in and let me put a new gun on layway today. They had a good deal on it and I couldn't pass it up considering I have been wanting one anyways. Got the payments set-up so that the last one is in December, just in time for Christmas. Best part is that the girlfriend even said she would make the last payment as my Christmas present. Gotta love her![:p] By the way, the gun is a Remington 700 Mountain w/ detachable magazine(.270 winchester).

Not too worried about that, more about weather she will get a bigger deer then me[:0]. She hunted and owned her own gun before I even met her and she loves to go out shooting with me, so I am not too worried. She now has 3 guns, Remington 870 Youth Model(20 gauge), Remington 7600(.243), and a .22 crickett I bought her for her birthday.

Hmm...I have a cabinet that is now full so a safe wouldn't be a bad idea[}:)]. I have made a few purchases without running it by her, but I figured I would with this one because she was in a really good mood and I was 99% sure she was going to say yes. Although the part about her making the last payment was a pleasent surprise. Which I wouldn't have gotten, had I not had the "balls" to ask[;)]. So which of the two takes more man hood? Asking, or not asking? That is the question.

there is no question,....just buy em. No "manhood" in the equation[8D] Worked for me so far[:D] Your lady has to understand from day #1 you are a gun guy. Mine still "kirks out" when I buy sheeit, but guess what??? I'm buyin it anyway[:0][;)]
The angle is,....that since your GF hunts and shoots, your purchases really are a dual satisfaction. Your work of convincing should be very easy[8D]0
