  just a tad over 1.5" at 1000yds for 5 rnds (IBS world record) set with a 6.5x284 by Rich Desimone,...heck of a nice guy too.
  
  I doubt 9" at 1760 yds from a 50BMG,..they really aren't all that accurate as some would think. I found the Barrett M82A1 that I mounted a Nightforce on to be CRAPPY even at 500yds. Granted,..it was some ball ammo and some Barrett non-match ammo,..but the groups I saw told me there is absolutely nothing about that rifle that makes it worth it's price tag. Supposedly the Armalite will shoot with the best of them,..for 1/3 the price.
