How long has it been since you re-formated?

Download and install Thunderbird. It will import all your connection settings, old mail, addressbooks, etc.

    www.mozilla.com

As a bonus, you'll get a trainable junk mail filter and all sorts of other cool things.

Messages open up on first click of in-box instead of listing.
Latest message will have to be deleted to go on to the next.
I'm running Win 2000 Pro on a wireless network with another computer running XP. No problem with OE on XP computer.

What do you mean by "listing"
Are you saying the preview pane is turned off?

Warpig- Yes the preview pane is turned off.
Single clicking the in-box (or any box) opens up the last message instead of listing the messages.
I installed Thunderbird and it works normally. Knock wood.

You can turn the preview pane off and on. I keep mine off.
