Fleabay sucks!
I was looking at leupold scopes on fleabay I thuoght the reason for an auction site was to get at least a chance at a good deal I found a VX-L 6.5-20x56 that I was interested in but those people are nuts they started it higher than it could be bought from cabelas and cabelas has free shipping!

I agree that Flebay sucks but in this case it is the sellers who suck. Even on Gb you can find many auctions which start at or above retail. 0 -
Happens all the time -- I'll find something on Ebay that's priced higher than it is in the store. I've seen those sellers sell them though which only goes to show that some buyers don't care or don't pay attention. 0 -
alot of ebay buyers are also ebay sellers and have money tied up in paypal accounts from selling items, which makes it very easy just to buy something else on ebay using the money already in paypal...im guilty of this. I can see how it would be very easy to purchase an item without looking at online retailers for price comparison. 0 -
Ebay is what it is, if you need firearms related items you go to a site that specializes in the like (hit the "Home" button at the top of the page for instance[;)]). If you need religious icons burnt on toast then Ebays your answer. 0 -

Listen guys, not everone on the net can drive right down to a Cabelas and pick up a scope or part. Beings these actions are worldwide, all things are not easily gettable to everyone. We all have certain things where we live that are easy and cheaper to get our hands on and then somethings that are hard to find and expensive to buy when we do find. I love these auctions to buy or to sell. Sometimes we do have to pay much more than someone else has to because of time and availability. Love these auctions when any time, day or night, you can find just about anything you can possibly want and then delivered right to our doorstep. It just doesn't get much better than that. 0 -
There are thousands of people who like ebay and only buy their stuff from ebay sellers.
I know this because I know a few of the ebay people.
On the opposite end of the spectrum I get a kick out of people who spend 3 days worth of time hunting for the bargains only to save 10.00.
I really can't figure that way of thinking out. I am the type if I see something I want and it is reasonably within what I see it selling for, even if it is 10.00 more, I just buy it.
I have a friend who will drive 2 cities away to save 3 cents per gallon on his gas.0 -
That is the joy of auctions like these. If you keep shopping all the way through the items you are interested in you will pick out the deals. People who jack the price up usually end up not selling as much. Hopefully going away. Then...a great thing happens. The market is set by buyers and sellers, deciding by supply and demand for an item. 0 -

Well you guys can whine all you want about E-bay, but as a seller with over 750 feedbacks, all positive, I'm making enough money to fill up my gunsafe. So keep crying and whining, and as you do, I'll keep selling stuff and buying new toys.
Yes, I know, you can't sell guns there.... Boo-hoo-hoo. You can't sell dogs or horses there either. There's lots of other things you can't sell there.
Their anti-gun, so what. I just defeat their stand by buying more guns with money earned on their site.
So to sum it up: Thanks E-bay, I'm looking for a second safe to fill thanks to you.
