    This is the whois info on the domain name. A brand-new name. I would not trust the legality of the site. Downloading music was thought to be ok until they traced the purchases and started handing out $5000 fines/bills.

    Maybe her college sells it. When going to Purdue, they had a thing set up with microsoft that you could get microsoft software for $5 dollars, it later went to $10. Still heck of a steal with XP pro!

    microsoft.com had a link to office you could download and use it free for 90 or 120 days. trial period.

    Office '07 is out - no more '03... New doc format too (old one is available) and totally new look and feel.

    If she just needs a word processor that can open and save Office '03 docs, then I suggest OpenOffice. http://www.openoffice.org
