Colt 1911---manufactured in 1917. Owned it for about 40 years. Gave it to my youngest son (35yo) about 6 months ago. Only thing he asked for when I die
so I went ahead and gave it to him.0 -

I think I'd rather give up the proverbial left nut. But if I HAD to pick just one, for aesthetics, enjoyment, etc., probably an M1 Garand would be on top of the list. But it is like children, I mean, you love them all differently but (generally) equally.0 -
