Wonder where the INS was?
World net Daily today.. "DALLAS - Waving American flags and shouting, "S?, se puede! Yes, we can!" several thousand immigrants and supporters rallied for immigration reform in downtown Dallas on Sunday afternoon.
"Last year we were on defense. This time we're on offense," said Domingo Garcia, a lawyer and former state legislator who organized the event.
A year ago, an immigration march through Dallas attracted a crowd of between 350,000 and 500,000. Many said they were angered by a border-security bill that had passed the U.S. House that would have made illegal immigration a felony and criminalized the offer of assistance to illegal immigrants."
This Immigration laws bit has been going around for many years with nothing being done by our members of Congress. Time to put it on the
ballot in a binding referendum with specific terms of qualification for citizenship and a quota per year from each country. Among these qualifications should be to speak and read OUR language, a complete physical for health reasons, background check, and not be in the U.S.
when applying for citizenship. If found illegally in this country after applying for citizenship you are not elgible.

Wonder where the INS was?
The INS, now part of the Department Of Homeland Insecurity, was too busy rounding up "legal" documented and law abiding immigrants, permanent residents, and alien workers from countries other than the most favored immigration nation of Mexico who forgot to dot an "i" or cross a "t" on their 500 page plus documentation papers.
Policy: The INS will routinely pick up, detain, and temporarily deport only a set quota of illegal Mexican citizens in the US do to this presidential administrations policy which has not changed from the last when Klinton was in. Also, according to policy the INS will pick up, detain and permanently deport any "legal" alien in this country who may have an innocent error or infraction on their paperwork since it costs the governement less money and time to prosecute and process out documented aliens.0
