Hi cap mags are selling in LARGE numbers....not just one or two mags....its "how many do you have in stock" and they buy all I will let them get.

Ammo in bulk....cases of anything we can get our hands on.

The rest of the store is like it always is....handguns and long guns come in and go out like always.

Those certain categories are a little "busier" than usual.

Just so you guys are up on what is happening.....see ya.

On the plus side, your getting buisness! [:D]

In 1994 some gun dealers group gave Bill Clinton their anual award for boosting gun sales because of the rush to buy ahead of the 1994 AWB he pushed through.

Sounds to me like owning and shooting a gun is fastly becoming a Luxury, kinda like hunting has becme. soon a case of ammo will be 1000 bucks and guns will be in the ten's of thousannds of dollars.

I think that it is great that EVERYONE is hunting now but look what that did for the rest of us that already did it and have been doing it for yrs. COST US MO $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

And it unlike Oil, $ is in short supply these days.

I finally did something right. Over the last five or six years I have been grabbing 7.62 NATO a case at a time when I could afford it, M1A magazines too. I now have 10....12....15(somewhere around in there)magazines and 7k-9k ammo stacked in the spare bedroom. I wanted 10k for each the SKS and M1A. Didn't get there, but I'm setting pretty good.

The big dealers loved the AWB[:(!] Who wouldn't love to sell $1 worth of folded metal for $89 a mag.

If anything good can come out of another AWB, then it is that some types of gun and mag sales have increased and might have even created some new "Assault Weapons" owners in addition to alerting many of the do-nothing gun owners that they had better get into the fight if they want a chance to save their guns. Because once the anti-gunners outlaw "assault rifles" then they are going to start looking at "long range murder rifles" (hunting rifles with powerful scopes), night vision scopes, and small easily concealed handguns as "pocket assassin" pistols.

But the sad thing about buying guns and mags before the AWB is that even though you might have "beat" the ban by making your purchase before the ban took effect, be ready to provide extensive proof to any BATFE agent you encounter with your high cap mags and "assault rifles" that you did indeed make your purchase BEFORE the ban took effect. Under the new ban, if they treat us the same way as under the old ban, the government will consider your high cap mags and "asssault rifles" to be illegal unless you can prove they are not.
