I know you don't care for the Cowboys, but your old argument of "What have they won lately, nothing since 1995" doesn't work anymore. Last Sunday, they won the 2007 NFC East championship.[:D]
So, like it or not, and I know you don't, they are champions, and still have a great history. When your Titan's get there (either a great winning history or a current championship), I'll be the first to congratulate you, until then, you have no solid ground to stand on![;)]

Heff...every year there are 32 teams trying to win the SP. One team does. That means 31 aren't happy, and aren't winners. Ask your esteemed owner what the whole season is about. Winning the SP. I have even heard him say on a TV interview that a season is not a success if they don't win the whole thing. That's not sour grapes. Just reality. Something CB fans have a hard time dealing with. I guess when you haven't won in as LONG as they have, you grasp any little glimmer of hope you can. But hey, that's OK. The Titans have at least won 5 playoff games since the Boys last won one! So, using your standards, and if playoff victories count, even with the year we are having, we're still better than you because we have won playoff games recently and you haven't! I happen to think the past counts, and that puts Dallas WAY ahead of the Titan's. I also think division and conference championships count, and that puts Dallas ahead of the Titan's. I will agree that the Titan's have been a better football team than the Cowboy's at times, and even a really, really good one. YOU'RE the one who wants to make double standards just to put down the Cowboy's, and my point is, you hurt your own team in doing it.[^]

Dallas is a great team with a great history. They have not been great every year, but have an a greater percentage than most. The stats and history put them above most teams, and they have won more playoff games than any other NFL team.[;)]
The Titan's have been a pretty good team, and are improving again. They may or may not build a great history, but it has nothing to do with Dallas.[}:)]
Your statements and standards will prevent the Titan's from ever being anything. Your hatred for Dallas only hurts your own team.[xx(]

For the five billionth time....I agree, kinda. Dallas does have a great history! Even I liked those old teams. Grew up idolizing Dorsett and Staubach. But not a great team now. You can't be a great team NOW and not have any playoff wins since 1995. They MIGHT be a great team this year, but that still has to play out. Fans thought they were a great team last year, and we remember how that ball bounced. If they win the SP, then they can be counted as great NOW. Fans like to live in the past. That's OK. I'm living in the present, and they are great NOW. NE might be better, but Dallas is still great today!
I remember back to back 1-15 seasons. I'm of no illusion that they have always been great, but they have been great a larger percentage of the time than not. Anyone who doesn't see that is just being untruthful with themselves.
I think ther are 4 great teams this year (to date), and several really good teams. I also think I have never seen as many bad teams in one year as I have this year.
Bottom line, I love football and I love great teams, even when the Cowboy's aren't. I also give credit where credit is due, and I love teams with a history of good football and winning, and don't care for teams who just want to toot their horns whebn they have nothing to toot about.
In Dallas, the Eagles and the Redskins are hated rivalarys. But because they are part of the greatest division in football (the NFC East) I pull for them if Dallas is not in the playoffs. It's all about good football.
The NFC East has played in 18 of the 40 superbowls (almost 50% of them) and won 10 of the 40 (25% of them). These are facts, not fan hype!0 -
