Anyone else want to kick me?

I am kicking myself right now! I went out to shoot some 22's and was doing alright until I decided to back my truck up a little. I left a Model 99 Marlin on the shooting rest on the back of my truck and it fell off and I ran over it.
It cracked the stock and knocked the Nikon scope off but it did no other damage. Kinda ruined my day. Don

    It don't sound like you need any help, but here's a word of caution!

    Make sure you have your head out of the way before you start kicking yourself in the azz, or you'll get a double whammy [}:)]

    Like they say ... if it weren't fer bad luck I'd have no luck at all ...

    As I pulled up at the outdoor range one day, car was pulling out- with a 45 on the roof. Saw it fall, tried to flag the driver- he had head up and locked. Picked up the 45, called the local sheriff (rural area) told him I had possession of the piece, no way to contact owner, gave him my cell number. 2 hrs later, sheriff called me back- owner got home, realized one of his guns was gone, paniced, called sheriff, who told him gun being held at the range. About 30 minutes later, a REAL embarrased shooter showed up at the range. Moral: Yeah, it happens. You are not first, won't be last. Sorry about your rifle.

    I used to hang around some of the local Seattle Rock bands and one quitarist for a band I hung around with showed up at the night gig with a guitar busted in two. Said he was at Alki Beach, got done playing for a crowd, set his guitar on the roof of his car, started talking to some hot chicks, got their numbers and jumped in his car and when he took off he saw the guitar slide past the back window and when he stoped to grab it the neck was busted off.
    Atleast that was his story[:o)]

    Well, maybe a small kick. Get some string and check for a bent barrell[:D]
