My letter to SOG
In the past, I went to the SOG website, browsed their milsurp and used firearms, chose what I wanted, and ordered it through a friend who owns and outdoor store/firearms shop. Those who have been on their sight now know you can't even find out what they have anymore. So, I wrote and asked how in the world can customers know what they have if we, well, can't know what they have!!!

Ask your dealer for his password[}:)][:D]

You obviously aren't referring to SOG knives. Exactly what is SOG? 0 -

Spend the $30, get your C&R license, and shop for self. Discounts from distributors will get you your $30 back. First gun with no transfer fee, you break even. And yes, SOG takes C&R FFLs for C&R guns. 0 -
I just went to their site and looked at everything as usual. Don't know why you can't do the same. 0 -
I assume cause the phamplet they send you and the website are 'dealer' prices not meant for the general public.
Personally I know of only their mailers they send to me and not their website; but perhaps that is why you cant 'log-in'. Or you can just try later.0 -
Thanks for the replies. Another poster said they were not longer accepting C&R so 11b64, your advice is good news!
fastcarsgofast: thanks, I'll give it another try. Maybe the problme was me, wouldn't be the first time.
My FFL's password? hmmmmmmmmm.0 -
No, locked out from all guns now unless a dealer or c and r.... though they never did show 1/10th of their total available stuff on the open site of the website. Nonetheless, not having a license, I too may now boycott them.... browsing was fun during slow days at work. 0 -
I emailed them and asked to be sent a password,I have a C&R on file with them,,if/when they send me one I will post it for anybody that wants to use it [:D] 0 -
You might not need a password to access the "flyer"[}:)]

SOG still accepts C&Rs- (I are one) I called them, they emailed me username and password. Seriously, if you enjoy guns, get the C&R FFL. It covers any firearm 50 yrs old, or on the C&R list. See cruffler.com for more info on the C&R FFL. 0 -
For Jonk: That is what I am talking about. I tried to access their website and no dice. Oh, I can find it okay, but without a password, no luck. I simply wanted to browse like I used to. And then, when I had some money, I contacted my FFL guy who ordered the product for me. I think I will stick with SAMCO or Classic for now...They did not answer my e-mail either. 0
