remington bullets in an XD 45
i bought a new XD 45 acp along with a 250 pack of remington umc yellow box ammo. the magazine follower on both magazines got scuffed up a little after potting 250 rounds through the gun. i called Springfield to ask if the mag. follower were too soft because of the scuff marks.( thought maybe a bad batch of plastic. the lady i talked to said: DO NOT SHOOT REMINGTON AMMO in the pistol it was too hot loaded, use winchester white box.
can you tell me if the XD's can't stand remington bullets? i had no problems with function fireing or ejection looked at the hulls and there is no pressure problem i can see, just scuffed follower. i told her if remington couldn't be safe to shoot i sure didn't need the pistol.
Any comments please?

...Now that is a new one to me. COMMENT: Maybe you talked to a cleaning lady that happened to pick up the phone? You should have ask her just what brand was safe to shoot, and to explain further...[;)]

shoot any ammo you want in it, it will handle +p+ 0 -
Even if the rounds were hot, I dont see how that would scuff the plastic follower. I think your problem is the follower and not the ammo or gun. 0 -

i called Remington about what the lady from S A said about the XD the Remington Tech said the lady was wrong, so i called Springfield again and sopke to a QC tech he also agreed with Remington saying it would handle all brands but didn't recomend Wolf.he said if pistol or magazine broke to send it to them for repair or replacement. 0
