Grassfire has carefully examined the Gutierrez-Flake "amnesty"
bill. What we found was so shocking that we decided to
provide this detailed analysis to ALL members of our team

Here's just a sampling of what you'll find in this analysis
of the Gutierrez-Flake bill (HR 1645):
++ grants an almost guaranteed "pathway to
citizenship" to most of the 12-20 million
illegals living in the U.S -- i.e. amnesty!
++ Sells citizenship for $2,500.
++ Illegals do not have to pay back taxes.
++ Amnesty recipients will receive Social Security
benefits based on their illegal work.
++ Employers are absolved of any civil or criminal
tax liability for having hired illegals.
++ Creates a "common security perimeter" with Canada
and Mexico -- big step toward North American

I salute you for calling our attention to this. I also salute you and your fellow Minutemen for taking physical action in your picketing of the Pflumm job site that apparently had numerous illegal aliens working there. I regret you did not have more success.
Here is perhaps a weak excuse, but an excuse never the less, of why I am not able to join with you, even though I have much agreement with you. I work for a company that has a long term US Govt. contract. The pay is excellent and the work is something I can probably handle until age 70, if that is what I need to be able to retire and live a somewhat decent life. Every 2 years I must complete and submit an FBI background check form. I cannot risk getting flagged because of some protest actions I might take. If it was just me, maybe I would be willing to take a chance. But my wife, daughter and grandson depend on me making a decent wage.
But when I no longer have to worry about keeping my job, I will be on the front line with you. Probably a weak excuse, but a better excuse than many others have who will never, ever support you.
There are many good American men and women who are having a difficult time finding a good job with good pay. All those native Amercians want is to have a decent job with a future and to be able to support themselves, and their famiily, in a decent lifestyle. If those illegal aliens weren't around, it is quite likely there would be many more good jobs for those good Americans. However, I wonder why some of those Americans who are being deprived of those good jobs are not joining you on the picket line.
BTW, I have a few suggestions of who should be picketed since picketing the actual job site did not seem to get the results you wanted. If anyone is interested.0
