Newspaper article - NRA

I was cleaning out some files and I found a gun article I had cut out of the newspaper. Page A6 of the Kansas City Star April 13, 2003. Article was taken from Knight Ridder Newspaper article by reporter Shannon McCaffrey.

The headlines read "Bush, NRA at Odds on renewal of assault-weapons ban". First sentence of article reads "The Bush administrations is bucking the NRA by supporting a renewal of the assault-weapons ban, set to expire just before the 2004 presidential election."

And so many rabid NRA bashers here claim that either the NRA does nothing for gun owners, or if it does do anything, it only helps hunters and target shooters.

I'm a GOA supporting member but I rarely, if ever, read any newspaper headlines about GOA. I wish I could, but I never see any.
