kidney stones UPDATE
well according to the Dr it does not appear to be stones [ thank goodness after all the descriptions of how it's like peeing busted winshields wrapped in barbed wire ] but rather a real NICE infection bunch of antibiotics something to relieve pressure [ said this would also make ya pee turn blue, which ought to be interesting ] thanks for the advice and concern

Blue pee sounds like fun. Can you get a bunch of refills? I would be pissing blue forever[:D] 0 -
Take good care of it. My MD says scarring in my kidneys has reduced kidney function. She claims its from past urinary infection I was unaware of.
Probably from Mooses in Korea.
Watch where you dip that wick.0 -

Blue pee, sounds (and looks) like a new Gatorade flavor.[:D] 0 -
I'm not going to pretend that I know more than your doctor, but both times that I had kidney stones, the doctor told me that I have kidney infection and gave me antibiotics to treat it. The pain didn't stop until I went to the bathroom and out popped the kidney stone. 0 -

Watch your salt intake especially if you have reduced kidney function. Salt will wear your kidneys out faster that about anything else. I wish there was some easy to reduce salt and still like the way food tastes. I found some salt-free cashews at the store the other day and they actually taste pretty good.
Kinda weird how we each are born with, at the time of adulthood, a fixed amount of use from our kidneys. Well, fixed but variable according to infection, injury, disese, etc.0
