"You may need me and this Marlin, Curly. Saw a ranch house burnin' last night."

So, is it true they stop running when they get dirty?

Yes Pecans, they are both completely original..as you can see from the photo, the 9 gets more use because it's cheaper to shoot. [:D][:D][:D]

They do get dirty and I've yet to have a stoppage with my 3. Cleaning after use works. Great little rifles that complement 1911's and 59 & 69 S&W's.

If you are needing more mags here is a cool project that I did http://forums.gunbroker.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=261353&SearchTerms=camp,9 . I have shot at least a mag through each with no troubles yet. I did 20 of them so that is why only one mag each so far. I don't think I said it in that post but I did have to remove the "mag safety" catch thing in the mag well for this to work.

A 45 in excellent shooter condition would be about the only thing that could get me to let go of my Ruger 44 carbine... but only because Ruger carbines are easier to find!

I have an older Camp 9 topped with a Tasco PPII red dot sight. I also have a S&W 669 which used the same 12 Rd. Mags. Great little combo.

Hey old fella, I have a Camp Nine identical to that one except it hasn't been shot very much. Still trying to find a 45 that isn't priced as if it were made of gold.

Hehehehe! I've got two camp nines. One NIB with checkered stock and the other one a shooter. Plus a wheelbarrow full of mags.

I ain't NEVER gonna sell them. I also bought a trailer load of brass cased 9mm ammo using polymer bullets with a .22 bb in the tip. Can rapid fire with the camp nines and burn up 20 round mags for 3 cents per round. Short range accuracy is pretty darn good and at only 3 cents per round for new factory ammo (milsurp) it is almost like shooting for free.
