My son's 1st deer.

Shot Saturday 11/17 at about 3pm. It is a 7 point 1 1/2 year old.

    Congrats and enjoy!!! I just went hunting with my dad this weekend for the 1st time ever. He had not hunted in 25 years...we had a blast!!!

    Spend your time with your family while you can.

    You never know when you may not be able to any longer. My dad died when I was 25. My father-in-law used to hunt with me and my brother, but he has too many health issus to go now.

    My son couldn't wait to tell him about his deer. I wish he could have told mine as well, but hopefully, he knows anyway.[;)]

    Enjoyed the story very much. My 12 yr old firstborn son also took his first deer this year. He is the 3rd if not the 4th generation to take his first deer with the very same rifle. I am very proud of him.
