Super Bowl question?
How many here won't be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday?
I never was a big sports fan, but will watch part of the game with my boys. I mostly watch it for the commercials. Anybody else?

Yeah, the game holds interest for me, but as you pointed out, so do the commercials. 0 -
I watch it, but its mainly a good excuse to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food. 0 -
for the commercials and for the halt time score and final score, I got a few good numbers on the pool borad 0 -
It has been a little tradition with my sons for the last 10 years or so. We usually enjoy the commericials....This year we are really into it because the Bears are in it.....

i am a college football fan, but the super bowl is a social event that you just have to be a part of. i dont really care who wins. i am just hoping for a wardrobe malfunction 0 -
Usually I don't bother with it. Not really into watching sports(love playing them). This year though DA BEARS the only team I've cared for since I was young are in it. I'll be watching. 0 -

I'll be watching, and I got people comming over. But I truely miss the super bowl parties from when I lived in Reno NV.
The Horseshoe downtown, or Western Village in Sparks used to hold some real good ones with lots of food and drink specials. Excellent parties, lots of side bets going on for many different prizes.
But the most fun was last year when I was at the game up in the skyboxes. For those who have never been to a superbowl in person you truely need to do it once in your life!0 -

To sit and watch some one else play their sport is not really what I'm in to. I will watch it on and off. But I'm sure I will also find something else to do. Clean my shotgun for example, or sit and read some threads here on GB. 0 -

We usually go out to eat a couple of times during the game - there's nobody else there.
It's also a good day for long drives - no traffic, no State Troopers.

If you obey the rules while driving, you don't need to worry about State Troopers even when every other vehicle you see is one.0 -

Heck, Superbowl Sunday is the only day in the year when I can average 100 MPH between here and Seattle, without worrying about a ticket.
