Which Mag is best?

Im going to purchase some 1911 Mags and would like your thoughts on which aftermaket Mags are best? Im looking at Mec-Gar now, I cant afford Wilsons or the other super expensive ones.

  don't compromise go with the Wilson

  Wilson is the way to go.
  They are usually about $26 each, and will take 8 rounds.
  
  If you don't care about reliability, get some surplus 1911 mags for $5 each.
  
  I used to have a bunch for target shooting, but let them go.
