    I just appreciate a fine shotgun when I see one and to see one this old with the original box is like a once in a lifetime sight.

    Someone called the store today and asked if I would end the auction early.....NOOOO. Its a nice one. I kind of stare at it and think....you'll NEVER get another one like it. But then I shudder to think of all the bills I have right now and what kind of homeless person has a Fox shotgun pushing it down the road in my buggy....gotta sell em.[:(] (super sad about some of them though.)

    if my father was still living someone would have to bid more than $10,000.00 or it would be his He always wanted a real Fox shotgun, he just couldn't afford one. i'd get it for him.

    Sorry for your loss.....you knew your dad well enough to know he would appreciate a nice gun. Some people don't know their fathers that well at all. You are lucky to have known him that well.
