Trojan Horses

I wanted to examine this concept OFTEN promoted by NRA faithful.
What exactly would we hope to gain by demanding a return to strict Constitutional interpretation ? Do the weak-kneed among us believe that that path leads to tyranny.a total take-over of the government of ALL our Rights ? THAT is where we are trying to drive this country ?
Do you grasp the implications of that mindset ? To think that means that you have to accept that we are SLOWLY drifting into tyranny..and that you would rather have 1/3 of a loaf..then none at all.
Why ? Because either the Constitution is the bedrock of this country.or it ISN'T.
Those of you advocating NICs checks, waiting periods, mental standards..all administrated by the government..have already turned your backs on the Constitution.
Deny it if that makes you feel better.changes absolutely NOTHING. You have handed over to the government your most precious Right..the Right to defend yourself, your loved ones, your community.and your country.
You have weakened us, the descendants of those mighty men..the Founders..you have GUTTED the heart of resistance to total government control.
The Trojan Horses are NOT those of us insisting that the Beast has no business controlling arms. The Trojan Horses are YOU.and the NRA.

There you go, ruffling feather! [:D] I often wonder why some particular supporters use that guise. We that want a constitutional republic, are wanting the same as they supposedly want. We just don't belive the NRA is of the same mindset. We don't attack EVERYTHING the NRA does, just when it comes to lawmaking and "comprimise". What is so hard for them to understand? 0 -

The NRA are NOT perfect, but until YOU or ANYONE ELSE comes up with a bigger, more politically powerful group, they are the best option we have.
I can't believe what a bunch of NRA haters exist on this board.
ANd the other NRA members on the board should speak up...don't be sheep around these would be Rambo wolves.

Some people have cancelled their NRA membership. They said so. Due to negative posts on the various gunboards? Perhaps. Methinks the gunboards have been infiltrated by anti-gun organizations, whos agenda it is, is to disrupt...to instill doubt within ourselves.

Here we have clearly written instructions, left from centuries ago, on how to remain free as a country...and a people.

I am a life member of the NRA and I'm very bitter about being sold down the river. I told them a long time ago I would not support them financially with any more of my money but I'm not renouncing my membership either. 0 -
Call Highball what you want. After reading many of his post, I too agreed with him being piss at something or someone. As I began to think about what all he says, each and every man should just hear this man out. Hes trying to get the blind to see.
What I realize is he speaks a lot of truths. He has changed my feelings to what he is saying.
How can our Government change our God givin "Rights" It's not a law, it's a Right.
Everyone on here can think for themselves. Where is the trouble coming from? Gun owners...no. Lets make laws that will put law breakers into jail and lets support more "Tent City jails where it's not so easy of a life for the law breakers.
