Whats all the "BUZZ" about the bee's
I'm hearing alot about honey bee's going missing. Can any one tell me what is this all about?

Two things. First was the tracheal mites which reduced their numbers. Now there is another disease, unidentified as yet that is getting more. 0 -
Thanks He Dog. But why are there no bodys? They say they just vanish. I read that some Brittish sciencetist is claiming cel phones are messing up thier guidences system. But I thought they used pheramones to fine thier way to the hive. 0 -
Yep...and scientists are screaming that the world's food supply is in "grave peril" if the bee die-off continues. They say we will be reduced to a "grain and water" diet. But think of all the good the extra fiber will do all of us! [:D] 0 -
Oh thank God! we ill still have grain abd water so there will still be BEER.[:D] 0 -

Are you unfamiliar with just how much bees polinate and therby propigate?0 -
I would have to think the bees are dying away from the hive. I do see the occasional dead bee, but I always have. It is not like they are really obvious lying on the highway or in your back yard. 0 -
I myself am not going to laugh at this loss of European Honey bees. If we lose them, we lose 1/3 of our food supply. So if that does happen, you all better be stocking up on ammo because we will be fighting our neighbors for food at some point.
Let me give you just one example using Almonds. WITH bees one acre of Almond trees will produce 2,400 pounds of Almonds. WITHOUT bees it drops to 45 pounds. So if the same ratios are true with other types of fruit and vegatables, etc. then there will be huge food shortages without the bees.0 -

The mexicans are killing off all the bees. Then when the bees are all gone, the mexicans will use little cotton swabs to go around pollinating all the plants. There are already migrant fruit/vegetable pickers. Now there will be migrant plant pollinators too.
The mexicans call it - job security. [:o)][:o)][:o)]0
