Heat Wave:

I went out for awhile and tapped on the thermometer a few times, but, it still seems stuck on zero. And, not centigrade. Wind is strong. Trees were cracking, birds are stuffing themselves at the feeders. An excellent day to stay inside. Will probably be -20 or colder tonight.

Anyone else in the deep freeze?

  Yeah it's 30 here. Supposed to be in the single digits - teens. We haven't had one below zero temperature all season, which is fine with me. Windy as hell today though.

  It dipped to 26 degree last night. Expecting only 31 degree tonight.

  Are you kidding today was awsome here the temp hit 43 in the sun. A very welcome change for the last week.

  It was -15 not too long ago, but it's nice today, in the 40's.
  Deep freeze is coming back next week though.
