Stupid Question?

I have a stupid question but we dont know if we dont ask. I thought I knew but I guess not, what is all the difference's in a 1911A1 and a 1991A1? I appreciate your answers?

  A true 1911 has a flat mainspring housing, long trigger, long spur trigger and short grip safety, tiny sights, and no scallops in the frame behind the trigger guard. Only Colt produces a gun in this configuration nowadays in the form of the WW1 Reproduction, as far as I know. the grip is a little different"

  Some of the 1991s had a plastic trigger too.
