New Year's Day meal

Who's doing the traditional New Year's Day meal tomorrow? After I eat the Hoppin' John and cabbage that the wife is cooking, should be kinda smelly around here! Gonna do a deer roast instead of the pork though.

    Round here it's black-eyed peas, cabbage, spit-roasted armadillo and deep fried twinkies. Gotta get up early to catch the main course. Takes a while to peel'em. [:p]

    My brother and I had our last festive meal of the year last week when we got back home to see mom and dad. We did the traditional family meal.

    We went to a specialty meat store in St Paul and bought a 5-lb black angus prime rib roast. We all had about 18-oz of prime rib, mashed taters and corn. [:p]

    Good year over all 2007. So this year we're having

    Lobster, Crab, Turkey, and fresh cut vegies. My special home make potato salad chips and dip. 6 types of sliced cheese, home made cole slaw. Little smokies w/ toothpicks stuck in them, 3 bean salad, and some side items the wife is fix'n now.

    Gonna take 9 weeks to work this meal off!! [:D][:D][}:)][:D][:D]

    Jumbo shrimped in sweet and spicy chili sauce
