Our local paper did a write up on the immigrants working in Southern Ohio. It was a very nice pice for the imigrants about how they are so hard working and how they are doing the jobs nobody wants. Jobs like drywalling, lawn care....then they told how the one was making only $400 a week for working.
lets see, $400 a week he doesn't pay taxes on and sends to Mexico to bring in more of his family. Doind the job of drywalling while regular construction people sit out of work because they brought him in from out of town to do the labor.
Meanwhile I make less than $300 a week, having lost my job last eyar. when I took a class to get State certification in the security field the state cancelled my unemployment because the class conflicted with working hours in the security field. Security was the only thing I was able to find as nobody is really hiring around here for nything better. All the schools are failing as they have no funding so the economy will be shot faster.

I don't take credit for this but is good enough to pass on.

    The American people have spoken
    No Amnesty..their position is clear
    But since Congress is broken
They forge ahead with a deaf ear

What a strange alliance we see brewing in this political pot
Bush and the Democrats? Certainly not
Throw in McCain and Kennedy, an unlikely pair
The result is uncertain as the recipe is rare.

But keep faith in our leaders as they know best don't you see
They know the facts, unlike you and me
So put your back to the wall make sure its protected
Take a deep breath and exhale were about to be shafted.

For some reason I can't comprehend
    News articles anymore.
I know the DHS was fully funded
for the rest of the fiscal year.
    What happened to the immigration
bill? Was it blocked or did our newly
elected Republicans back off and let it
    go thru?
