My deer draggin' days are over.
I just sat down at the computer after about two weeks. 11-17 I was blowing leaves in the yard while the wife was at Hilton Head for the weekend and I felt funny. After 2 1/2 hours I finally decided to drive to the ER and guess what.....I was having a heart attack. I've been in the hospital since then. Got out today. Now, the wife is gone grocery shopping for what I can eat. Life's a bitch, but the alternative really sucks.

David,.......take care of yourself.
Lose weight, eat right, exercise,.......whatever is needed.
Life is short here, and you don't need to shorten it any more.
Wish you a full recovery.[;)]0 -

Glad to see you are still around. Did you require stents? Bypass?

That happened to me, too. I thought it was gas. i took some bicarbonate but it didn't help. Finally went to the ER and it was a heart attack. I have 8 stents in me now and glad to be alive. Stay well! 0 -
at least you did not deny the facts and got help. good luck to you 0 -
Get well fast the Cemetery is filling up way to fast and we wouldn't want to lose you.[:D] 0 -
Same thing here. Digging post holes, felt suddenly tired and out of sorts. Sat down and had a cigarette.[:D] A week later the biggy hit me. That was 28 years ago. Take care of yourself.

Get well soon. Time to start taking care of the ticker. I'm sure you have plenty of people to help you drag a deer (for a back strap, or quarter)[:D]. 0 -
Glad you're still around. Follow your Doctor's orders.
When I had my first heart attack and survived, I thought the Lord was saving me for something.
I still think He was.

Glad to hear you are alright. My FIL drove himself 45 minutes to the clinic when he had his. He made it through, thank God, as did you.
Prayers for you and your family.0 -

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you!
You are not that far from me and it would be no problem for me to take a little drive out your way!0 -
Yikes, that was a close call! I am glad you are home from the hospital.
Take care of yourself, do what the doctors say.0 -
If you have to go through the Heart Rehab Program I feel for you. Nurse Ratchet (One Flew over the Coo Coo's Nest) ain't got nothin on those ladies. I thought they were trying to make me have another heart attack. [:D]
GOOD LUCK!0 -
I'm glad to hear you caught it early and are OK...I pray you have a speedy recovery! 0 -
Sorry to hear that. I am glad you are doing better. Hopefully, things will improve for you on a daily basis so you can put this behind you for good. 0 -
Thanks guys. I now have 5 stents and they are going to go back in around the middle of February and crack me open to do the last one. They said I wasn't strong enough and that it was detached. I really am not looking forward to that trip. Like Lewis Grizzard said,"heart surgery is a breeze. It's when they pull the tubes out that hurts." 0 -
Take care and get well Bro. 0 -
