Another concealed carry shooting in Michigan
Chalk up another one for the good guys. A carjacker with an unloaded gun was killed by his intended victim...who had a loaded gun and a concealed weapons permit.

The bad guy had committed a string of robberies already that day when he finally ran into the wrong victim. This is what I like to see, a nice clean shoot, no bystanders hurt, the bad guy is dead and the good guy is unharmed. It's a textbook example for the benefits of concealed carry.

That will send a message around a certain community that car jackings may not be a wise move.
Two of those happened when I first moved to Oregon back in 1993 with the same outcome. Two dead scummy carjackers.
I rarely ever see carjackings up here since then, unless its a single mom with a small child. The carjackers got the word in Oregon. We have permits and pack big guns and will shoot to protect our lives and property.0 -

That poor carjacker, he was someone's child once also. He didn't deserve to die, why didn't the evil gun toting driver talk him out of it. After all the gun wasn't loaded. He could have shot to injure instead of kill. [}:)] 0 -

...the driver could have just as easily become a "victim" but OH NO, he shoots the poor guy!...all he was gonna do was shoot/stab/club(?) the owner and ride around a little while in the stolen car, then burn it, no reason to get shot for that!...[;)]
