We all need to spread the word about HR1022

We all need to spread the word about HR1022, and certainly this includes emailing, writing and calling our Congressmen and Senators, demanding that the defeat it.
But we also need to let President Bush know that, if it somehow does reach his desk, he MUST veto it. Keep your communications resolute but very respectful.

You can email President Bush at:

president@whitehouse.gov

You can call the White House and express your views (no, you won't get to talk to the President, but your point of view will be logged) at:

(202) 456-1414

And finally, you can write the President via snail mail at:

The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW
Washington, DC 20500

Again, be resolute but VERY respectful.

    Assault weapons ban and Law Enforcement Protection Act. As an LEO I'm offended that they think we are stupid enough to believe this has anything to do with our safety. They are just trying to the idea that this might help us to get support the measure. That my friends is a crock of s**t.

    Git_r_done has made it very easy to write. He's giving us the address and the bill number. There is no reason we can't email a short letter asking for a veto of this bill. The copy and print the letter and mail it to the address provided. Then don't forgoet to copy and paste this infor. and post it on other webs sites and tell your friends. If you guns mean anything to you at all then please do this.

    I for one will, I've been facing bans in almost every hobby (atv's, 2 strokes) I have and I always stand for my rights to keep my what I have. We've one a few we've lost a few, but this ban is one we have to will pleast take a stand.

    Use congress.org its free and it will show you who are your elected officals state,federal and government. You can use it on many issues. Try it you'll like it, send them emails[:D][:D][:p][^]

    I agree send them emails. Don't just stop at the President You could copy and paste the letter and work your way down the chain. Don't do anything and let this one slide take a stand.
