This ticked me off.

RUGERGUNZ
Was in Bangor Maine today. Went to the Super Wal-Mart and was just doing some shopping. Went by the lobsters to see what they were charging and noticed that all the lobsters in the tank had Canadian bands on them. WHAT!! You are a store in the middle of Maine and you can't get Maine lobsters? Canadian lobsters can't be much cheaper if at all than Maine lobsters.

Just sayin....

    Yeah, I know it was bad to shop at Wal-Mart, but it is the best place to get what I need in a hurry. I could have purchased most of what I did in Rite-Aid but paid alot more and then had to go to a grocery store for the rest.

    We were headed up to Maine to hunt bear one year. While on the Interstate in Vermont, we saw a sign that said "Maine, bear left" so we turned around and came home.

    Yeah, went on Sunday. Where were you setup? Unfortunately I thought the show got even smaller this year.

    I've lived five hours from Bangor for the last 31 years (Qu?bec City for 10 years, Moncton, NB for 17 years and SW of Boston for the last 4 years), and I'm wonder if we're circling for a landing! I plan to retire back up in Moncton in another couple years.

    Actually, we go through there from time to time. I like check out their Black Powder stuff after hunting season. L.L. Bean in Freeport is the place for snooping!

    Oh yes, I forgot to mention ... I know a fellow who has a lobster processing plant up in NB, and when the lobster season ends up there in NB, PEI & NS they, buy go down to buy Maine lobster and truck them up to their plant to process them and sell them wherever!

    And one time one of their truck drivers, who we also know, went off the road (Rt. 9 - the airline highway) and the truck tipped over ... he was not hurt, but he said it was pretty funny to see lobsters crawling all over the roadside and into the woods.
