Loaded or Unloaded - A hypothetical question

Hypothetically, if you had more than one handgun and kept the idle one you weren't carrying at home in a gun safe or gun vault or lockbox or just with the trigger locked, would that idle handgun be kept loaded and ready or unloaded?

    Which ever. Don't think about it when I put it up since every gun is to be assumed to be loaded.

    The ones I keep ready for use I keep loaded. The ones I keep in the safes are unloaded.

    If I had a handgun, or more than one, the ones locked up would be unloaded. The others would be loaded, if I had any. If the wife had two handguns, she would keep both of them loaded too, if she had two.

    I keep several handguns loaded around the house in various locations. ...and I have several others that are kept unloaded and packed away.
