Wife and baby update...

After four days in the hospital I got to bring to my wife home tonight. It was a rough four days. I had to work two of them (9 hour days). I never got to talk to a doctor at the hospital until today. My wife had to deal some jerk bullying her around while I was at work and anytime I was at the hospital he was nowhere to be found. Well today, guess who shows up. Nope not him. It was a really nice lady doctor who took the time to actually explain things to us.

She said my wife has preeclampsia again and scheduled us for a C-section next Tuesday. That is, as long as things don't get worse before then.

I could go on for hours about how slack jawed I was at some of the things we were told at the hospital and how my wife was treated but that really isn't important anymore. What matters is that my wife is home where she can be comfortable and we now know what's wrong, what to expect, and when we will get meet our new son.

  Best wishes for a safe and healthy delivery. It is a scary time that most of us have to go through. Good Luck! Keep a bottle of Patron around for a stiff shot and a lick of Lime from time to time. It will help snap you back to reality when you get overcome with worry.[;)]
