All the time. Talking with your pet is almost always preferred to talking to anyone else!

You know, 'cept on the interweb! [;)]

Does anyone else have conversations with their pets ??

I talk to Gretchen about a lot of subjects, and we never argue. She is a very good listener and sometimes offers insights that I haven't considered.

Anyone else have discussions with their Pet(s)??

    Doug

Since my dog stopped talking to me, I found that a dose of risperidone followed by olanzapine, Seroquel, ziprasidone, and aripiprazole, usually gets me through the night. [}:)][}:)][;)][;)]

When I was going through a divorce, my dog heard it all! Over and over. My best friend ever, gone for two years now.

But I'd never listen to him. I mean, look where that got Son-of-Sam!

    Yep. Our's go like this.
ME: WHAT? Look what you've done! How many times have I told you NOT to do that. This is just ridiculous.
    Dog: I don't know what he want's. But I know I ain't doin it.

Someone asked me one time why I was such an animal lover. My answer was multi-part.

    1. They taste good.
    2. They don't talk back.
    3. The pet ones are always happy to see you.

I still talk to my horses on a daily basis, unfortunately they stopped replying after I stopped taking their tranquilizers.

Since I retired I spend a LOT of time conversing with my Dane.
She doesn't answer much though, just leans on me and slobbers.
    Gotta love it!
