I've shot quite a bit of S&B. I have a bunch of S&B Brass. It's a good a quality as any of the others. 0 -
The S&B is great ammo.
Their 9mm is going to be loader hotter then your Remington and Winchester 9mm ammo.0 -
I know were to get 3000 round 9mm winchester for

That is cheap, especially since Winchester ammo is becoming more expensive than a lot of brands. Do tell where these can be found.0 -
Its from this guy on craigs list in my area he is getting rid of it all he said its new winchester and said ITS NOT RELOADS. 3000 for 300 0 -

S&B is European... Sometimes their listings state higher energy in foot pounds, but be careful... alot of their testing is done with longer barrel handguns not typically found in america. This results in higher velocity, not necessarily greater powder charge. The quality is fine, just make sure you know the test barrel length of the gun used in the chrono if you are looking for hot ammo.
Some of the S&B ammo is quite old though... alot of surplus hanging around. Remember, in most parts of Europe civilian handgun ownership is severely restricted (thus ammo manufactured 30 years ago with the intent to sell to civies, is not being shipped elsewhere because it's now illegal for civs)
Winchester 9mm 115 is available from my local Wal Mart for $13.75 after tax for 100 rounds. I've found it to be about the cheapest there is... aside from ordering a whole pallet from a manufacturer or distributor - which is usually only open to wholesale (plus you're going to get a nice freight shipping charge). It's cheaper than Rem or Federal. Look for the Value Pack.
Even the Atlanta Arms 9mm, bought by the case (can't remember if there's 500 or 1,000 rounds in a case) from my local range, is $1 more expensive per 2 boxes, than Wal Mart. I guess I wouldn't prefer to buy from Wally World, but alas I suppose I can't afford not to [B)]0 -
Cheapest besides' blazers around here is the Serb "Monarch" brand ammo, box of 50 is less than $7 right now. Winchester white box was under $5 a year ago now it's $8+. 0 -
Privi Partisan or Ficocci from Aim is also decently priced. When reloading I notice that the Winchester Whitebox Brass cleans up much better/easier than the others. S&B's brass I'd compare to the Winchester's 0 -
I have a bunch of S&B 9mm brass. When I try to reload it the primer will not go into the pocket. It seems to be just a tiny bit smaller than my Federal brass. Does anyone have a solution to this because I have a bunch of it. 0 -

Do you have a primer pocket cleaner? I use a hand priming tool. I've noticed it takes a little more effort to get them to seat, but they have all gone in. I use a primer pocket cleaner on each case before loading.0 -
Actually, if you could buy CCI Blazer's in bulk, locally - that would undoubtedly be the cheapest... However, there are some serious questions about the effects of the aluminum shells on guns. Many people have cited harm to semi auto extractors, as well as other problems such as jamming and chipped cases, etc... Also, they aren't that easy to find in retail stores. 0 -
I dont think its the 115gr though; however according to the guns and ammo annual (with all the ballastics) and the ammo sold and quoted by soprtsmans guide --- Winchester makes the hottest 9mm around (approx 424 ftlbs).
Then theirs double tap, but that is not really mass production so it doesnt count.0 -
Around here(lehigh valley PA) wally world is the cheapest with winchester wincleans 100 for 12.99 or 13.99. 0
