  They are big sport around here. I go as a spectator to several every summer. Worked on a few pit crews.
  
  
  The best derby I have ever seen was one where they forgot to ban Chrysler Imperials in the rules. The held up the derby for an hour looking for rule violations in his car but finally had to let him in. The car was indestructible!!!

  We used to do them back in the late 70s when we were in high school. It was fun for a bunch of kids!

  Demos are awesome i have been in a couple of them. i cant seem to get the photos to load up

  they are fun but alot of work to just and go destory the car,last one i was in was a dry track and i hurt for many many days after that deal..dont know how fast we could get going before we would hit somebady but will say it was too fast...had a rear differential about foot away from my head....the other car just about went completely on top the roof of my car.

  My brother and me race in Junk car races. They are kind of a demo but on circle track and teh first one to make 10 laps gets into the feature.

  My car is the orange and brown caddy. Very good if your a road rage kind of guy like myself. PLus u can ran with a passenger, my wife rides with me to spend quality time smashing cars.
