Own guns you haven't shot?
Ok, so I think I may have too many guns (gasp!). I say this because of all of my handguns, I think that I have some that I have never shot. These are S&W 61, Sig 239, Beretta Tomcat (replaced my old one w/cracked frame), S&W 66, Colt 1903 .380. How many of you own guns that you haven't shot, not becuase they are collector's pieces, but just becuase you haven't gotten around to it?

I don't have a huge collection (about 8 guns) so I have shot every one that I own. I do have an old crescent arms 12 gauge shotgun that belonged to my father. The last one was made in 1930 so I know the gun is at least 76 years old. I have noticed a small hairline crack in the stock so it has been basically retired to the gun rack. 0 -
I think I have 39 or 40 guns . I have only shot about 8 or 10 of them. I do not hunt, I just like guns. I do like to shoot skeet. Mostly I like to buy guns that are not made anymore and are still new in the box. 0 -

Why would you want a gun if you don't shoot them. First thing i do when i get a new gun is shoot it and then take it apart to see how it works. Sometimes the reverse. 0 -
...several that have not been shot, by me or anyone else.
Some on purpose, some just because Ive not gotten around to it.
Several wont ever be shot by me, as they have gotten to the price point they are going to be sold soon...and others will take their place...[;)]

I have two Lugers I have never shot ...not that they are collector grade, more like "nice to have" weapons (always wanted one since I was a kid in High School ...when they were $60). The wife use to razz me saying I had "too many guns"! I walked over to her jewelry box, opened it and asked if she had too much jewelry? ...Never hear that "too much" statement again! *G* 0 -

I have a couple of SW29-2 that I have been moving around in the safe for about 28 years or so. I'll get to them yet.... 0
