That looks like a Hi-Point .380. I have a C9, and it's never done anything close. sounds like somewhat of a case of operator error... 0 -

After removing all of the rounds and loading it CORRECTLY....it shot fine. Who knows what this guy was thinking. I'm a rear end for saying this....but my thoughts were as he was holding it on its side and yanking back on the slide, limp-wristing even the loading of the gun (while finger on the trigger of course.) Gravity itself was at play a bit in the actions that provided this little bit of amazing abilities this guy has in loading a firearm.
But I am only guessing.0 -
maybe he thought you loadded it like a Red Ryder and you poured the rounds in the port like BBs.
So did you tell him it was terminally jammed and could only be used as parts and then offer him a small pitance to relieve him of the problem?0 -
My Tommy jams almost that bad if you use the 50 round drum. 0 -
I have machined a couple of MP5 barrels that had two bullets stuck in the barrel. They were for a certain DA Investigator that was retiring that couldn't seem to tell the difference between 40 cal ammo and 9 mm.
I shaved off half the barrel to show the two bullets. The barrels were mounted to a plaque and presented to the retiree.0 -

That also speakes volumes. It may have gotten quite interesting if one of the rounds, it's primer bouncing against part of the frame or another cartridge decided to go off in his pants. A least itwould have kept him from breeding.0 -

Is it just me or would anyone eles be mad if you brought your gun in and someone started snapping pictures of it? I bring this up because you did the same when the guy had the saw'd off sks. I can understand that but, I would not let anyone take pics of my gun when I bring it into a store. Locust Fork no hard feelings but this is just what I think. 0 -

Nope, I don't think that would bother me a bit. I post pix of my own guns WAY more readily than I post pix of my face. OK, so I'd be super-embarrassed to present a jam like that to a gun store, but if the issue is pictures of guns I just don't have a problem with it.0 -
You don't take the pictures in FRONT of them....or ask if you want to (like the SKS...they were about to leave and I just asked if I could take pics.) No serial numbers are shown, no pics of them holding it beside their face. 0 -

Usually just one, on rare occasions two if I am dealing with a stovepipe or other nastyness (usually due to an old worn-out mag)

You would think so right!?!? Well a couple months back when I took my class to receive my certificate of training for self-defense with a firearm, which in oklahoma is needed with application for a CCW license I was amazed and scared at the same time on the questions that were asked.....what kind of safety do I have and how does it work ect. Not only that when it came time for range time, the guy next to me couldn't hit the life size target from 7 yrds or less away half the time, and when we were all done shooting our 50 rds I was exiting and I heard the instructor yell "PUT THE FIREARM DOWN!!! Some guy still had his firearm in his hand and was know facing everyone exiting with the muzzle pointed towards us. Needless to say it is not a very good feeling looking down the barrel of a .45 automatic[xx(] Further more I went back to the range a couple days later for my normal practice and ask the instructor what happened to that guy that was pointing the gun at us. He said "well we sure as hell didn't give him his certificate! Instructions were clear, just listen and you will pass."
Scary to think more than half the people that carry do not know how to operate their firearm properly and safely or could hit the broad side of a BIG barn[xx(]
Its like everything else, practice makes perfect and when it comes time to defend your self or others and your blood pressure has skyrocketed even with practice even the best will have a hard time hitting what they want to hit.0
