Precious metals prices..........

Gold, Silver, Platinum prices are going up. As with prices of base metals. Meanwhile the dollar keeps going DOWN!

    Going through the roof. Gold $748, Platinum $1410 per ounce!

    The bigger problem is that the dollar is going down at the same time as the Federal Funds Rate.

    The good news is that I bought 2 tons of lead shot. Now the price is 3 times what I paid for it.

    I'm still waiting for shot to hit $75 a bag. Then I'm selling the same stuff that I bought for $16 a bag.

    Talked with a LEO yesterday who said there is a significant increase lately in the theft of copper wire and other copper scrap.

    When you sell scrap metal here they now take your picture and get a thumb print.

    At a local high school they had to cancel the football game. The lights didn't work. Somebody stole the wiring to the lights!

    The ZOMBIES will jump him on the way to the bank and give Al Gore the money so he can buy carbon credits and fly around telling us to stop using energy.

    Same here if its shiny and metal somone is taking it. One of the General Contractors, here has started to work to crews. one monday-friday, and the other saturday-thursday. just so there is always somone on sight over the weekends. he figures there is 250k in copper wire and plumbing in the hosue right now. and until the doors go on and he can lock it up he's taking precautions.
