Motor home fillup...........
When I gassed up this morning I saw a motor home filling up. When he left I saw that the pump indicated that he paid $333 to fill up. Wow! He didn't bat an eye. There are many people in this world that are richer than me.

Yeah, the prices they get for them are unbelievable.[:0]

If you have to own a motorhome, power boat, sailboat, airplane or gun collection you find a way to do it and pay the price.
Involvement in any of these hobbies rarely generates a positive cash flow so don't view it in those terms.0 -
Cheaper than rent! 0 -
try this on gas this summer up here was just over $4.00 a gallon to fill my truck and boat up with gas when both where on empty cost me $350 need less to say the boat didn't go much this year unless had someone along to pay for gas or at least split it. 0 -
I just bought 150 gallons of fuel oil for the house, and paid $483, and that just fills the tank half way full.[:(!]

If you can live the life of a full timer motorhome camper, and those we've interviewed liked it, it can be pretty economical compared to renting or home ownership. 0 -

Its fun for a while, then you get tired of not having a home base and all the parks start looking alike.
I did it in 1979. Lived in my motor home for six months and traveled the country. Gas was about 62 cents a gallon when I left Florida. It was over $1 a gallon when I got stranded in California during the first gas crunch. But it was fun for a while and I am glad I did it.
Today the cost of gas, the motorhome, and the hookups makes it a hobby for the wealthy. It is much cheaper to go by car or plane and stay in a first class hotel.0 -
I have a motorhome, got a Cat 3116 and a 100 gallon fuel tank. It gets about 12 miles to the gallon. Don't take it out for a Sunday ride but use it for business and vacations. When you figure how much I save in not paying motel bills and not eating out, it does start making economical sense. 0 -
My daughter's boat requires over 700 dollars for a fill-up (2 huge V-8's in it, with the gas lines looking 3/4ths inches in diameter).
But, you know they say about boats, right? "A boat is a hole in the water, into which you throw your money".
