Who cuts your hair and for how long?
"If" you have hair and have it cut by a professional, is it cut by a male or female and how long has this person been cutting your hair?

I go to the old style barber shop. My barber is a male, and does one helluva job. I've been going to this particular guy for about 7 year's. Best haircut I've ever had. 0 -

I only get one haircut and beard trim per year. A lady who has her own shop and is a good friend of the family gets the honor. I pay her a hug and play Santa Claus for her at Christmas. 0 -
I cut my own hair. I just take a set of Wahl electric clippers, drive it around my skull for a little while, and I have a decent haircut for free. If I feel like taking the extra effort I can touch up the back of my head with a razor and a handheld mirror.
Sure beats paying $10-18 for a less satisfactory haircut.0 -
A woman at work has cut mine for the last 2 years.
Cost $10 and she does it on company time.

Old man Norman cut my hair for $6 as long as I can recall. A real old school guy with the Spiral post out front and could get a shave with a strait razor until he retired in 99. Now Amy cuts my hair for $15 and she is hot. 0 -

i had the same barber for ove 15yrs. then he got old and started going blind. missing spots, divits, uneven lines. stopped going to him bout 2yrs ago. havent found a decent place to get a haircut since 0 -
I cut my own also. Have for about 10 years. I also shave it occasionally.
I usually cut my older son's hair and my younger one's in the summer.
When I cut their hair myself, it saves me $10 so I give them $5. They save me some money and I share what I save.0 -

Used the same barber for about 8 years. He went up to $10, so since he did that 3 years ago, been cutting my own. Heck, there ain't that much of it anyway! [:(] 0 -
John the Barber. He's been cutting my hair since I was @10 years old. I wish he'd retire, he's so old his hands shake, and when he gets the straight razor out to clean up the neck and ear lines I can tell he doesn't sharpen it for fear of cutting somebody.[:D] If I go somewhere else, he'd know it and think of me as a traitor. He does have a 17 acre private lake on his property in Illinois that is the PERFECT fishing hole, and I'm welcome any time.[8D] 0 -
Guy at Hunter's Barber Shop cut my hair when I was 4 and I'm going to see him tomorrow. 0 -
Used to have it done at by a nice middle-aged lady named Chan at a Cambodian barber shop in VA. Chan spoke about 6 words of English and acted shocked the first time I tipped her.
$10 got me a clipper fade, a straight razor shave on the back and sides, a hot towel, and 30 second massage.
Compared to that, no Caucasian I've ever been to came close. She went at her job like it was her sole purpose on earth.0 -

Had the same barber for years, then my wife got me to try going to costcutters. Been going there ever since. All females work there and most of them have cut my hair. Most of them take their time and do a great job.
The worst one I ever got was at Walmart. [:0][:D] Yeah, I went in there to get something and needed a haircut. So, knowing the other place was closed I was like, ah well, WTH? So I went in, waited 20 minutes and then got this woman they must have just found off the street that day.
So she starts shaving and hacking away. Then she gets to my wonderful 'cowlick' in the front where my bangs tend to stand up on their own a little on the side. She mentions it (like they always do) and the next thing I know, she grabs the whole tuft of hair, jams the scissors straight in at a 90 degree angle to my head, and cuts out a big chunk of it. Then continues with the rest of the hair cut, never addressing the area again. It looked bad.
At the time, I was like WTH just happened? Now I look back at it and laugh. I've never been back and whatever I paid, it was too much. lol0
