That is a really nice machine, and I wouldn't mind having something like that, but I suspect you paid more for that lawn mower than I paid for my first new car. I just can't bring myself to do that. [:D]

I've got a Snapper with a bad rear end, a White that needs a overhaul, and a MTD with a dead battery and weak starter. Looks like I'll be using the push mower. [:D]

I can just about smell the garage from the picture.

When I own [more] land, I hope to use a goat.

I will mow my yards with my kids. and kill 2 birds with one stone by getting them their RDA of veggies and flossing their teeth. [:)][:D]

My brother and I swapped mowers last year. He bought a big house in Overland Park with a huge, sloping yard . Meanwhile, back in Colorado, I built house over 2/3 of my back yard, leaving me a postage-stamp sized yard. So I got his little mower and he got my self-propelled monster. Good trade.

I found a brand new Craftsman mower at a garage sale last year. Tried to start it at the sale, would not start. The guy said is it worth $5? So I bought it ,got home, changed the plug and it runs like a charm.. Best $5 I ever spent..[:D]

Dixie Chopper with 72" cut. Bought it in '03. Best lawnmower I've ever had. Well worth the money I spent.

I DON'T KNOW THE BRAND IT'S wee. 20" MAYBE IT RUNS WHEN I PUT GAS IN IT. CUTS THE GRASS TO ABOUT 3 INCHES TALL ID GUESS. TAKES ABOUT 30MINS. FEELS GOOD TO GET OUTSIDE AFTER A WEEK AT THE OFFICE. NOT TO MENTION IT HELPS KEEP THE BP DOWN

Have used a push for the last 5 yr on our 1+ac lot. Moved Mother-in-law down from Ohio to be our neighbor and will have to do her lawn too. (stroke victim years ago) Sooooooo I went and bought a Troy-built 42" riding mower with Kohler engine and hydrostatic tranny. Pleased so far.

I'll be mowing again with my 1978 John Deere 212 46-inch rider. I bought it new and, if you can believe it (or even if you can't), I have replaced the battery only once in all those years.[:D] (Wish I could get that service out of my car and truck batteries.) I also have a 6-foot Woods belly mower under a 1951 Ford 8N and a 6-foot brush-whacker behind a 1952 8N. Unfortunately, both tractors need minor (I hope!) work to make them completely reliable.[:(] Gotta get to that some day.

    Like rossowmn, I have a 1951 8N, a 1967 110 JD, and a mid 70s 212 JD.
The combined age of the mowers and the operator is
    195 YEARS![:0]
    and still getting it done.[:D]
