McCain is blowing himself up - he looks angry and nervous. Neutral on Rudy. Romney is a putz I think, but he looks poised thus far . . .0 -

Ron Paul did a fantastic job. He made one of the better showings. I think that Paul, Hunter, Brownback, and Tommy Thompson were among those that did particularly well, although I do believe that the front runners remain the same.0 -

We must have been watching a different debate. I like Paul, but he came across as "jumpy". Tancredo looked good and so did Huckabee, but Romney was the clear winner0 -

Romney did do well, but I feel that when he was asked about what he does not like about America that he passed up an ideal opportunity to connect with John Q. Public by airing his beefs like the typical American, and then praise those things that make America great. This tells me that his concerns are most likely far removed from mine.0 -

We watched the same debate, you seem to have been concerned with Paul's mannerisms instead of his focused, frank response to each query. If anyone did poorly in terms of showing a distinct lack of speaking ability, it was Tancredo...as much as I like the man and what he stands for, he was anything but smooth tonight.0 -

Frankly, Romney scares me. He's TOO smooth. He reminds me of Bill Clinton0 -
Drudge 2007 results after 28K votes, Romney 33%, Slick Rudy 23% and 3rd place Ron Paul 13%. McCain a meager 6%. I voted for Duncan Hunter, he sits at just 3%. 0 -

Few would think that Ron Paul would win the debate. Despite his mannerisms, he was far more serious and persuasive than most all others...provided they were caught up with hearing what he had to say, rather than being distracted by the mannerisms we have noted. Scoring very high in effective communication, Ron Paul, Brownback, Hunter, and Tommy Thompson did extremely well.0 -

I watched C-Span this morning and the topic for the call-in was for Democrats only and who they feared most among the Republican candidates for president. Two said they were surprised and encouraged after listening to Ron Paul. They agreed with his views on foreign trade and gun control. (!) There may be hope yet. One said he was going to get on the Internet and read more about Paul. 0
