Avodart

Yes, Avodart. I am taking it now. Been having annoying symptoms. Saw doc. He referred me to a urologist, Dr. Wang. (I still giggle about that.) Wang checked the old gland and it is a bit enlarged. PSA is slightly elevated. So, we are going to try the Avodart for 3 months and re-check.

If you ask me, the prostate is poorly designed and/or located.

    OK. While you are at it, see if you can find out why we have to have out testicles on the outside of our bodies. Whales and dolphins don't. Could it be that they are the pinnacle of Creation and we only thought it was us?

    water as Whales and Dolphins and see where yours wind up.

    Nunn, male sperm cells are very heat sensitive. They wont flagellate (swim) unless conditions are ideal. Mother Nature tried her best to keep your jewels at less than body temperature...it's something like sticking your hand out the window of the car on the highway. AAAAAAAH!! Love that cool breeze!!!!     Been on it for 9 mos now. Doesn't affect recreational activities. Still up every two hours thru the night. 3 mos and I'll see Dr K and find out if it works...they say it does but very slowly...
    Had a fraternity brother named Nunn back in the early 70's...stained glass maker and sign painter now...

    I took it for six months, my urologist told me it works very slowly, especially if the prostate is quite a bit larger than normal. In your case, if the gland is just a little enlarged it should shrink it enough that it will eliminate getting up nights.

    In my case the gland was large enough that I would be taking it for maybe two years before I noticed any relief. So I just went ahead and had the surgical procedure.

    I still take the Avodart though only one gelcap every three days because it caused an accelerated hair growth around the temples which pleased me very much. Good luck.
