ICONOCLAST UPDATE...
Just got a call back from the police....
Seems Teak is at home and is fine, but will not disclose why he wont answer his phone or auctions or answer anyones emails about his health or whereabouts etc...
I want to thank the police and all the ppl who helped....Especially to one person who I just hung up the phone with...

All I can tell you is what I was told by my contact thru the police...Teak will NOT disclose why he wont answer the phone or his emails etc....
If he wants to talk, he has our address, email addies and phone numbers.....0 -

And I thank you Beth. I just know that means there is something wrong, but at least he's still above ground, so what ever it is can still be resolved.
I'm just worried. He wouldn't tell us if he needed our help.

Are you satisfied with what the police determined? I'm assuming they when to his home and spoke with someone there? How did they verify that he was there? On a "welfare check" call they probably wouldn't ask to see the person's ID -- or even the person himself -- they'd just ask the person who answered the door if he is "so-and-so" (or if so-and-so is OK) and take that person's word on it.
Again, I only really know him from the forum, but it is inconsistent behavior for him to just abandon his auctions as he seems to have done. Maybe I could see him just dropping out of the forum, and perhaps even ignoring phone calls and emails if he wanted to "brood" over something, but cannot understand the action of letting the auctions run instead of just shutting them down.

They went to his house and checked on him...that is what a welfare check is about...
I imagine they checked his ID...and told him who called the police in....and what the check was about....0 -

...I got Larry to bid on one of his auctions just to get the contact info, because I dont keep when ppl send it to me...I then did records search, made 5 different phone calls to ppl around Teak, and when nothing surfaced, did tax searches, liens, arrest records, then finally asked for help from the police thru a sweet, helpful person on here...
Only to be told he was at home the whole time ignoring all the calls???????????... Now the person I was in contact with IS a police officer talking to the police in Dover, I dont doubt what they told him, and I know from personal experience they check ID's
I am going to bed...I am so flippin ticked right now, if anyone wants to question what went on, call the Dover NH police..0 -

It did for Hesekiah (how ever you spell his name)remember God told him to set his house in order because he was going to die? He turned his face to the wall and prayed and God sent the prophet back to tell him he would recover.0 -

Yep...it is an act of humbling oneself, an act of submission and pettition...and yes it will change the outcome of a situation. Prayer is powerful and effective.
TR...prayer and answered prayer is more about teaching us how much we need Him, and about His love, grace, and mercy...than it is anything else...imo.0 -

Well, the way I see it, the whole mentioning of religion and prayer is a snide way of implying that Iconoclast doesn't pray enough or is not "worthy" in God's eyes. Which is asinine, to say the least.0 -
