It didn't say what the active ingredient in it is. The two most prescribed drugs for enlarged prostate, according to my urologist, are Avadart and Flomax. And these work, well kinda, as long as it isn't a really big prostate. I tried Avadart for six months, with Sonograms before treatment and after, and there was no improvement, so had the surgery and everything fine.
I would guess that the product advertised is probably mostly Saw Palmetto which, I'm told, will help some unless the prostate has grown really large.0
