Damn I am hurting now!

I just came in from posting "Private Property No Hunting" signs all along my property line (expecially were I found that blind at!) and cleared out a good shooting lane were I will be setting up to hunt at.

I am just not cut out for that type of crap anymore! My whole body is hurting right now![:(]

    Why didn't you booby trap the blind? I'm thinking a trip wire explosive under about a gallon of titty pink oil base paint? It would be pretty hard for the arsehole to hide around your little town looking roughly like a demoralized version of the pink Panther?!

    I allready tore the blind down. I am sure they will get the hint with that![;)]

    I also just posted signs every 75 feet along the property line stateing:
    Private Property No Hunting, Fishing, or Tresspassing for any reason! Violators will be prosicuted!

    I made sure there was one right in front of where the blind was at as well![;)]

    As much as the "home made" dye pack sounds like fun in this day and age one might be going to Gitmo for that.

    git_r_done - I had a thought when you said shooting lane. Fly a red flag and use that spot for a firing range[:D].

    That is the reason I don't want someone I don't know hunting it!

    You might want to check your states laws about how to post your property. In some states if you use NO HUNTING ALLOWED signs, no one is allowed to hunt(even the owner). If they say no hunting etc., without written permission, your good to go. Hate to see the guys come back with the Warden and get you for hunting on land posted NO HUNTING ALLOWED. Just something to think about.

    GRD lives in SC, so that doesn't apply.

    As for the signs it should have said, "Tresspassers will be used for target practice", not prosecuted.

    had It been my property, I would have posted the property like you did. I would have left the blind, I can always use a good blind. making sure that there was a no hunting sign on the blind and a sign below that thanking the person(s) responsible for blinding me a blind, and reminding them again to STAY OUT.

    I'll bet that blind would have disapeared all by itself

    I know what you mean Kevin...I could not believe how much pain I was in last night just from skinning out that deer yesterday...this joint/muscle pain is getting out of hand.

    I seem to allways be hurting anymore! But now with the cold weather starting to set in it is magnified 100 times it seems like!

    I am back to takeing pain pill most every night (I want to take them durring the day because I'm hurting but I refuse to do so as I just get loopy and never get anything done) which I really do not like doing!

    I only wish I could find a way to really stop the pain without dopeing myself up on the meds that they give me!

    They were store bought signs so I am pretty sure they were right![;)][:D]

    But then again I bought them at WalMart so it might actually be in Chineeze![;)][:o)][:D][}:)]

    I spent the afternoon and evening, until after dark, doing some last-minute scouting before firearms season opens Saturday. Had the thirteen-year-old along who works and hunts with me, and who also plays football and runs track. We were retrieving some stools just at dusk, to place in the new hunting area, and the little wretch started in about how I probably couldn't make the walk up the slope, to get the stools, without having to stop for breath. I ran it, leaving him out of breath just over halfway there. Like Toby Keith puts it -- "I ain't as good as I once was / But I'm as good, once, as I ever was."

    And I will pay for it tomorrow, while the barely-teenaged turd will feel no reminder that he ran and lost a footrace through the woods. [:(] Forty-five years old, next month, and I'm not sure whether it's good or bad that, with a little (again, good or bad) luck, I've got roughly the same amount of time left to go as I've already put in. At just the point that I'm marginally wise enough to know how to enjoy life, it's becoming physically more difficult to actually do so.
