Vic Sentence Question
Vic was sentenced to 23 months, which to me seems an odd number. Would something else have kicked in if he had gotten a two year or more sentence?

The break in federal sentencing is at one year. If you have less than one year you cannot get good time.
If you have one year and a day, you can get 52 days off for good time, if you are well behaved.
The max for Vick under the guidelines was 24 months, and the judge basically threw the book at him, as much for lying and smoking dope, as for the dogfighting conspiracy charge.0 -
